Download the Excel file, or the CSV if you use Google Sheets (File → Import → Upload). The columns are already set up, and in the Excel file Balance Due works itself out from Total Price and Advance Paid.
Delete the example row, then add one row per order the moment it is agreed, not when you start work on it. An order that only lives in a chat is the one that gets missed.
Each morning, sort by Due Date and hide finished orders, so the top rows are always what is due next.
Update Status and Advance Paid whenever something changes, so Balance Due always shows who still owes you money.
Move to WISMO when customers start messaging to ask how their order is going. The sheet can tell you; it cannot tell them, and a tracking link can.
It works for a small number of orders. Once customers need self-service status updates, a dedicated tracking app is more effective.
Yes. Download the CSV and import it with File → Import → Upload, or open the Excel file in Google Sheets directly. Both keep all fourteen columns.
Any. The price columns are plain numbers, so enter amounts in whatever currency you charge in. The example row is invented.
Yes. The structure works for cakes, tailoring, jewelry, art commissions, and other custom work.
