Common questions

Are these WhatsApp Business API templates?

No. API message templates have to be approved by Meta and sent through a provider. These are plain messages for the ordinary WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app, so you can paste and send them straight away.

What should an order confirmation message include?

What you are making, the ready or delivery date, the total price, what has been paid and the balance. Add a tracking link if you have one. The confirmation template above has all of these.

How do I ask a customer for the balance without sounding rude?

Send a friendly reminder a day or two before the due date, not after it. If the date passes, say what is outstanding and from when, and offer to sort out any problem. Both are in the Ready and getting paid section.

Do these work for Instagram DMs too?

Yes. Copy the message and paste it into Instagram, SMS or email. Only the Open in WhatsApp button is WhatsApp-specific.
