Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the WISMO mobile app or website ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
WISMO is a mobile order tracking platform for freelancers, custom makers, and small sellers. The Service allows you to:
- Create and manage custom orders from a mobile dashboard
- Share branded tracking links with your customers
- Track payment status and order timelines
- Send automatic email notifications to customers on order updates
Customers view order status via a server-rendered web page and do not need to download any app.
3. Account Registration
You must register using a valid mobile phone number. Authentication is handled via Firebase phone/OTP verification. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under it.
You must provide accurate business information (business name, owner name, email address) during onboarding.
4. Plans & Pricing
Free Plan: Unlimited active orders. Includes order creation, tracking links, WhatsApp sharing, and push notifications.
Pro Plan: Unlimited active orders, automatic customer email notifications, CSV export, and all future premium features. Priced at ₹499/month (or equivalent in your local currency).
Payments for the Pro plan are processed through Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) in-app purchases. WISMO does not directly collect or process payment card information.
5. Subscriptions & Cancellation
Pro plan subscriptions renew automatically each month. You may cancel at any time through your device's app store subscription settings. Upon cancellation:
- Your Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period
- After the billing period ends, your account reverts to the Free plan
- Your data (orders, customers, updates) is retained
- You retain unlimited active orders on the Free plan, but Pro-exclusive features (email notifications, CSV export, etc.) will no longer be available
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google per their respective refund policies.
6. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes related to managing your business orders
- Not upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on others' rights
- Obtain appropriate consent from your customers before adding their personal data (name, phone, email) to orders
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or abuse the Service
- Not use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
7. Customer Data
You are the data controller for the customer information you enter into WISMO (customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, order details). WISMO acts as a data processor on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to store and share this information.
8. Intellectual Property
The WISMO name, logo, app design, and all associated content are the intellectual property of WISMO. You retain ownership of all content you create within the Service (order descriptions, notes, customer data).
9. Service Availability
We strive to keep WISMO available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance.
10. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the app. When you delete your account:
- Your account is deactivated and you lose access to the Service immediately
- Your order data, payment records, and customer information are retained in our systems for legal, audit, and operational purposes
- Your push notification tokens are removed
- You may sign up again using the same phone number to create a new business — previous account data will not be restored
11. Limitation of Liability
WISMO is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- WISMO is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service
- WISMO is not responsible for any loss of business, revenue, or data caused by service interruptions
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months prior to the claim
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that is harmful to other users or to WISMO. We will provide notice where possible before taking such action.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the app or email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
